It is the highest measure of the ORIGIN standard, and a team reaches it together, with its coaches and its families, through development, culture, leadership, and the consistent pursuit of excellence. It carries weight because it has to be earned, and then upheld.

Development
Measurable growth across the year. Did players become better than they were. Weighted the heaviest, because the work is the point.
Culture & Accountability
The values lived, on and off the field. Team-first behavior, evaluated on defined standards with player and family input.
Coaching
Coaches who teach, develop, serve families, and uphold the standard. Evaluated on observation and feedback.
Competition
Results against real competition, as evidence of the above and never the only driver. How you compete counts as much as the scoreboard.
The standard holds. No one is handed BLACK. It is earned, and it is rare.
