The start of the pathway

ORIGIN Kids.

Same name. Same fire.

Every ORIGIN team wears one name, from the youngest player on the field to the earned apex at the top. ORIGIN Kids is the beginning of that name: the same club, the same Phoenix, the same values, drawn small and bright for the littlest players just falling in love with the game.

Below the climb sits the place it all starts.

Joy first.

You earn your way to ORIGIN BLACK. You do not earn your way into being a kid who loves the game.

ORIGIN Kids is the one part of the pathway that is given, not earned. Every little one who shows up belongs from the first day. There is no tryout for joy and no standard to clear before you are allowed to play. The work, the climb, and the earning all come later. First, you fall in love with it.

The teams: ORIGIN Diamonds.

The Kids teams take the field as ORIGIN Diamonds, playing 8U and 10U in the sport’s learning years: the eleven inch ball, thirty five feet, and formats built so every player touches the game. Diamonds are formed, not found, and so are ballplayers.

On tournament schedules they are ORIGIN 8U and ORIGIN 10U, plainly. Inside, they are Diamonds.

What it's built on.

Fun first

At this age, fun is the whole curriculum. Kids who enjoy it keep playing, and the ones who keep playing are the ones who grow.

Fall in love with it

Before technique, before competition, the goal is simple: love the game enough to come back next week.

The Phoenix, for kids

Same bird, same meaning, drawn to be high-fived. Little ones meet rise, resilience, and conduct as a character first, and a standard later.

Belong from day one

No earning your place here. Every ORIGIN KID is ORIGIN, fully, from the very first practice.

The joy is the point. Everything ORIGIN asks of its oldest players begins as something its youngest players simply love.

The Phoenix, drawn for kids.

The same bird the oldest players earn has a cartoon of its own on the way, drawn to be high-fived. Same fire, same meaning, made for little hands. It stays veiled until launch, the same as the others.

The climb starts here.

Every ORIGIN BLACK athlete started somewhere. For some, it starts at six, in love with the game long before they understand the climb above them. The Phoenix they high-five today is the standard they rise to tomorrow. Same fire, the whole way up.

Where it begins.
