You got into coaching to develop players and win games. Here those are the same job, and every ORIGIN coach holds to the same standard, for the players and for the game.

We are in the I-85 corridor north of Atlanta, and we are choosing our founding coaches now. Come help set the standard from the first practice.

Why coach here

01Develop to compete. Coach the whole player and point it all at the scoreboard. Here, development and competition are one job: the work sharpens the player, the player sharpens the team, and the wins mean more because of how they were built. If you love the sport, the players, and the competition in it, you will be at home here.

02You are not alone with a clipboard. ORIGIN is built to support its coaches, and we will tell you where things stand. You coach inside a standard.

03A standard worth wearing. The brand, the experience, the way an ORIGIN team carries itself. You will be proud to wear it, on the field and off it.

04What this is right now. These are volunteer founding roles right now. We are too early to promise pay. The coaches who build ORIGIN matter to us, and doing right by them as we grow is something we care about, with no number and no timeline attached.

05A seat at the founding. The coaches who join now help write the coaching standard and name the culture. That is a one-time thing, and it goes to the people who show up first.

06The reset, on your practice plan. ORIGIN Reset is ORIGIN's core mental performance program, delivered by coaches with exact language, behavior counts instead of mind reading, and a hard scope line. You already coach this; now it has words. Meet the program.

The ORIGIN coaching standard

Every ORIGIN coach lives by the same short code. Not a manual, a standard.

Develop the player, and play to win. Measure every athlete against her own ceiling, not the player next to her.
Lower the pressure, never raise it. The sideline is calm. Clear, steady communication is the job.
Safeguard every child. Clear the background check, complete SafeSport training, and hold to the conduct standard those carry.
Show up ready. Ready to work, to teach, and to guide. A team rises on the people in it.
Carry the name well off the field too. How you represent ORIGIN is part of the standard.

What that standard feels like on a Thursday night: the plan on your clipboard says what tonight is for, the drills carry the same names every ORIGIN coach uses, and the numbers you write down mean something next week. When a player loses her composure, the reset is already on the plan. And when you look down the fence line, you are not inventing the standard alone.

And there is no one road into this dugout. Coaches come to ORIGIN from every corner of the game. Women who played fastpitch and lived every inning of what these players are walking into. College players, current and former, who want to give the game back. Baseball coaches and baseball dads who already speak diamond. Slowpitch lifers who never lost the arm, and if that is you and you are playing Sundays now, your own door is here. Umpires who have watched ten thousand pitches from the best seat in the park.
